In this post I would like to give you some tips on how to photograph water drops
In few simple steps you will be able to take very nice photos.
First tip: be creative and change some elements to make the photos unique.
To take photos of water drops we need to set the camera as following:

1). Use Tripod
It is recommended to use tripod but also without you will get nice results.

2). Tray or bowl
Choose a tray deep enough to feel with water or a unique bowl.
Colorful bowls can create the effect of nice colors.

3). Framing the photo
The meaning is not a real frame, but what is you surrounding?
I like to add a white background to emphasize the drops.
The background can add a lot to the photo.

4). Focal Length
Play with the zoom and remember that you are always can crop the photo.
I recommend to use manual focus, lock on the drops (use a bag or the tap and you will get the same rhythm of drops).

5). Aperture
I use between F/9 to F/13, it is all depend on if you use flash or not.

The use of flash in this case will help a lot.
In case you do not have a flash, make sure to use additional lights.

6). Shutter Speed
Water drops are moving objects and a result shutter speed is one of the important things.
The best is when you are on manual (M), to have the settings on 100 or 125.
It’s all matter of experience and trying.

7). ISO
ISO sensitivity should be as low as possible to ensure a clean image.
In above photos I use ISO 100.

8). Patient
Be patient and flow with the rhythm of the water.
It can be tricky but if you try and try and try you will get it.
