In this post I would like to give you some tips on how to photograph fireworks
In few simple steps you will be able to take very nice photos.
To take photos of fireworks we need to set the camera as following:

1). Use Tripod
You must use a tripod.
In every night photography and especially when you are shooting fireworks it is very important to use tripod or any other stable surface.

2). Remote Control
Remote controls nowadays are reasonably cheap.
If you do not have remote control you can use the build in timer.

3). Framing the photo
The meaning is not a real frame, but what is you surrounding?
Is around you any people that might be caught in your way?
Take in count the rest of the photo beside the fireworks.

4). Focal Length
Play with the zoom and remember that you are always can crop the photo.

5). Aperture
The light from the fireworks is quite bright, therefore between F/8 to F/16 is suitable.

6). Shutter Speed
Fireworks are moving objects and a result shutter speed is one of the important things.
The best is when you are on manual (M), to have the settings on Bulb.
Of course by exposing the photo to too much light you will "burn" the image.
It’s all matter of experience and trying.

7). ISO
ISO sensitivity should be as low as possible to ensure a clean image.

8). Flash
Turn it off.
It will only damage your photo.

The most important thing is to keep trying.

Thank you,
Amir
